Stefan Steiner
Managing Director

Stefan Steiner has more than 15 years of management experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in the health service. For several years he was responsible for the development of a new generation of hospital software at NCR/AT&T, before taking over the management of the Swiss branch office of a German provider of standard hospital software in 1996. Within 6 years, Stefan Steiner had led the company to market leadership.

In 2002, together with two partners, he founded his own company, which specialised in the development of Microsoft .NET solutions and whose customers included both software development companies and large enterprises looking to benefit from the latest Microsoft technologies. Stefan Steiner brings comprehensive knowledge of the use of the latest software technology in the health service and experience in the efficient establishment and management of international corporate structures to the vision4health management team.

Andreas Kumbroch
Managing Director

Andreas Kumbroch has been at home in the market for laboratory diagnostic software since 1988. In the Laufenberg Group, at Torex Health plc and also at iSoft plc, the key employers of his career, all strategic and operative laboratory activities converged on Andreas Kumbroch, both at national and international level. He thereby continually provided important market drive for innovative but practicable solutions, which he consistently put into practice. For example, he accompanied the successful products PROSIGHT Laboratory Management and LORENZO LabCentre to market maturity and is considered to be the strategic brain behind vision4health’s trendsetting solutions. In 2007 Andreas Kumbroch provided a further indication of his commitment to the diagnostic market when he founded the vision4health company together with the Laufenberg family. His knowledge of the international laboratory market and its worldwide network makes an important contribution to the implementation of vision4health’s growth strategy.

Beatrice Born Thie
Country Manager Switzerland

Beatrice Born Thie is a graduate medical laboratory assistant with an additional diploma from the Higher Technical College for Biomedical Analysts. She can look back on 20 years of experience in laboratory routine and was employed from 1992 - 1997 as chief laboratory assistant at the Beau-Site Clinic in Berne. In 1997 Beatrice Born took up an appointment as project leader with a leading provider of standard laboratory software before taking over responsibility for establishing the laboratory informatics department at Digitana AG (later Sysmex-Digitana). In this function she was also responsible for the product management of molis. Beatrice Born Thie has guided the fortunes of the Swiss branch office since mid-2008 with the aim of further strengthening molis’ leading position in the market.

Holger Rostek
Country Manager Germany

Holger Rostek is Executive Manager of vision4health Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG. Before joining vision4health in April 2009, his last position was as chairman of All for One Systemhaus AG, a software and system provider for the health service as well as for public administration in Germany. Before that he was manager of sales and product marketing at micom GmbH, a Munich-based manufacturer of hospital information systems. Holger Rostek gained practical experience during his eight years as head of IT in various hospitals in Germany.

Philippe Poncelet
Country Manager France

Philippe Poncelet is responsible for our business in France. He is a graduate biochemist. He has spent his entire career in medical diagnostics and has been responsible since 1997 for sales at various leading device manufacturers (Roche, Dade Behring). As an expert for the French market and the demands on laboratory diagnostic IT systems arising from its structure, he is responsible together with his team for all local projects.

Laurent Galmiche
Country Manager France

Laurent Galmiche is Country Manager of vision4health France S.A.S.

Prior to joining vision4health in November 2009, he worked for approximately seven years as the national sales manager with MIPS France, a healthcare software and system provider that is market leader in the sector of university hospitals. Before that, he was sales and product marketing manager for France with SGS Cortex, a software and system provider in the healthcare sector. Laurent Galmiche finished his studies at the faculty for pharmacy, biochemistry and biology in Lyon and then, during 3 years, gained practical experience as sales manager working for different medical diagnostics companies.

Fred Hilgers
Country Manager UK

Fred Hilgers is responsible for the British market and supports sales activities in the Middle East at the same time. He joined the molis team during the initial years and led the Training Department, with the tasks of training, documentation and web services. As part of the international expansion of molis activities, which began in 1999, Fred Hilgers took a key position in establishing the British market. In his current position he is responsible for all market-orientated tasks in the British market, from sales to product implementation. In addition to that, he has assisted the international product management for the last 10 years and brings in his expertise in large international molis projects.

Thomas Markovic
Country Manager Austria

Thomas Markovic is responsible for the Austrian market. Following his education at the Higher Technical College, he worked for 11 years as a system developer and project leader for Siemens in Austria before taking over the molis project management for Müller Vienna in 2003. In 2005 he became managing director of tme GmbH and vmx Informationtechnologies GmbH. As an expert in the Austrian market for laboratory diagnostic applications, Thomas Markovic has a fine intuition for successful business models. It was precisely this intuition that led him in 2009 to vision4health. In his position, Thomas Markovic is responsible for all market activities, from acquisition and product implementation to customer support and development.

Martin Möller-Lenfers
Head of Customer Care

As the person responsible for the Customer Care department, Martin Möller-Lenfers is responsible together with his team for all technical and application-related problems in conjunction with the operation of the system. This includes ensuring a professional organisation of the hotline. The trained IT specialist for computer and communication technology was employed for 10 years at iSoft as Manager of Technical Services. As a member of the vision4health founding team, he ensures that our vision of innovative forms of organisation is also reflected in our internal processes.

Jean-Marc Houbben
Head International Product Management

Jean-Marc Houbben is head of International Product Management at vision4health. Together with his team, he is the linchpin of all strategic and operative product questions and a direct link to software development. As a trained IT specialist, Jean-Marc Houbben has the required technical background, which is ideally supplemented by his 18 years of experience in the market for laboratory diagnostic software.

Guido Meyer
Head Marketing & Sales Management

Since graduating from university with a degree in Business Administration, Guido Meyer has worked for 15 years in the health service in various marketing management positions. In addition to that, as part of his Master of Business Administration studies, he gained valuable knowledge in the subjects of change processes, new business models and change management, which he was able to bring into various innovation projects. Guido Meyer is head of the Marketing & Sales Management Department which, besides the planning, execution and checking of all marketing activities, also elaborates strategic sales principles and supports the sales team in its operative business.

Julia Besewski
Head of Marketing & Communication

During her business studies, Julia Besewski put an emphasis on International marketing. She has now been working in this sector for over ten years. While working for the SAP group in Germany, she was responsible for the automobile and aviation sector and for the subject Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). When she moved to Switzerland, she became the national marketing manager of iSOFT and NEXUS, producer of hospital information systems. Today, she is responsible for the marketing and communication of the whole vision 4health group. The goal of her work is to manage the communication between our potential customers, our existing customers and the vision4health employees, and to daily promote the innovative power of our enterprise in cooperation with her colleagues.

Christian Hotz
Head of Finance & Controlling

Since 2009, Christian Hotz has been responsible for the finance and controlling of the whole vision4health group. Prior to joining vision4health, he worked for various international companies (such as a global market leader for innovative solutions in textile mechanical engineering) and gained broad experiences of the financial management in highly cyclic markets. Christian Hotz contributes to vision4health’s success on a demanding market due to his know-how on structuring an extensive and cross-divisional control system, the flexibility of structures, and the prompt reactions to constantly changing requirements.

Mathias Kühn
Head of Production

With Mathias Kühn we now have a dedicated Head of Production on board with a long experience in Software development practices and database systems. Back in 1997, he acted as a sales engineer for InterSystems. Driven by the increasing demand for professional services, Mathias Kühn founded the company SYNERVA where he was developing different software for international customers for more than 10 years, forming the leading European competence center for InterSystems and became co-author of the standard book about the postrelational database Caché. With a focus on certified in-flight database systems to be used in the cockpits of modern aircrafts he has built extensive experience with certification processes which are becoming increasingly important in the health sector. As Head of Production, Mathias Kühn is taking over responsibility for the complete software cycle of all our applications, ranging from ideas and design to development and quality assurance.

Dr. Christian Och
Head of Software Services

Dr. Christian Och has been working in the professional software development sector for over 20 years. For 10 years, as manager of SYNERVA, he was in charge of the Professional Services department. During this period, he successfully led numerous large-scale projects with international multi-site project teams. The main emphasis of his work was set on consulting and developing complex, multi-site information systems for international customers. He was also involved in planning and developing certified software in accordance with the strictest safety conditions. One of his projects even received one of the highest levels of certification from the aviation authorities.
Now, Dr. Christian Och is Head of Software Services and therefore responsible for realizing everything from individual customer requirements and workflows to complex strategic projects. He leads an impressive team of experienced experts. Christian Och holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he also received a Masters Degree in Computer Science.
